Library Online Catalogue
Online catalogue provides bibliographic information on the title, author, subject, as well as the call number, location and availability of items for all materials available in the collections of the UTAR Library. Both physical books and e-books are searchable through the online catalogue.

Library One Search
One Search is a single search tool on the Library homepage to search for resources across the Library’s online catalogue and online databases.

Remote Access Service
Remote access service is available to all UTAR staff and students. All electronic resources including online databases, e-books, e-journals, e-magazines, e-newspapers, etc are accessible remotely at anytime and anywhere.

Wireless Access
The UTAR Library is one of the learning spaces with full coverage of wireless access. Patrons are able to attend online class or training, as well as access to the library online resources in the library.

Student Computers with Internet Access
The Library is equipped with computers for students to access the internet and library online resources for study and assignment purposes.

Printing and Photocopying Services
Printing and photocopying services are available in the library. Click here for the printing / photocopying charges. You are advised to be mindful of the Copyright Act 1987 when photocopying any materials.

Reading Corner
The Reading Corner is a collaborative and learning space for students to work together in small groups for their assignments or projects as well as for conducting group studies. It is open from 8:00 am to 11:00 pm daily including public holidays. Students are allowed to bring in their bags but eating is strictly prohibited in the Reading Corner. Discussion Rooms

Lockers / Cubicles
There are open cubicles and lockers at the entrance to the Library for the storage of bags and personal items.

At the Main Library, Kampar Campus, a limited number of day-use lockers are provided free on a first-come, first served basis. Locker keys can be obtained from the staff at the Check-point Counter. Student IDs will be retained until the key is returned. Students who lose the locker keys will be fined RM20 for the replacement of lock and key. Any items left overnight will be removed and placed in the “Lost & Found” section.

Valuable items should not be kept in the open cubicles and lockers provided. The library will not be responsible for loss of any items in the open cubicles and lockers.
