Renewal of Books
- Online Renewal Library books can be renewed online twice by logging in to your Library Account. Online renewal is only allowed 7 days before the due date of the book. Check the Renewal Guide
- The book is overdue.
- The book is being requested by another user.
- You have exceeded the maximum number (2 times) of online renewal for the book.
- You have unpaid overdue fines or unreturned overdue books in your library account.
- Renewal at Circulation Counter Other than online renewal, users may renew their books at the Circulation Counter. Renewal is not allowed if:
- The book is being requested by another user.
- There is unpaid overdue fines or unreturned overdue books in your library account.
Online renewal is denied under these circumstances:
Online reservation for a checked-out book is allowed through the UTAR Library Online Catalogue. Users will be notified via UTAR email account once the requested book is available for pick up. A reserved book must be picked up within 3 days upon receipt of the email notification.
