Please be informed that the processing section at PB Library will be relocated to the Perak Campus Library on 17 March 2010. With this relocation, PB library will become a branch library and the opening hours are as follows effective 17 March 2010:

What's New

All staff and students can now access the Library's subscribed online databases and journals off-campus by connecting to UTAR's proxy server. For staff please register in WEB2 while students please register via the UTAR Portal for access. For further instructions students can refer to the OPAC in the FAQ area under the heading Off-Campus Access while staff can refer to WEB2. All users are to comply with the Terms and Conditions of Using the Online Resources.

About the Catalogue

The catalogue provides access to bibliographic records of the Library's resources published in the English, Malay and Chinese languages. It is easily accessible from any location on the Internet. It also gives access through hypertext links to a range of electronic materials and offers self-service facilities such as online renewal of books, reservation of checked-out books, cancellation of reservation, etc. It is updated continually as materials are ordered, received and catalogued. 

Search functions are not upper case or lower case sensitive. Punctuation does not affect the search and hyphenated words are searched as separate words.

The catalogue allows searches based on author, title, subject, publisher and call number.
